This subject came from an earlier clay work. I refined this in a small bronze and then further improved the image for this final work.

"The Pigeon-Toed Camel Named Clyde"

Ray Stevens wrote and recorded the song "Arab the Arab", Arab had a pigeon-toed camel named Clyde. This is what I thought he might look like.

This was the first of a series exploring sensations, Bronze is a tactile media. I want the viewer to feel the work with their hands without their eyes.

Again the important element is the tactile sense of touch. The mental image is important for the viewer to sense.
